The International Mummers’ Festival was founded in 2011 in the city of Bath. Since then it has moved around the West Country.

Guests at our first festival were a local group with one of the longest traditions. Marshfield Mummers were revived in 1930 and continue to play. In 2020 COVID will cause a rare break in the tradition, but thankfully we have this archive footage.

The festival has attracted Mummers’ groups from across the British Isles and welcomed special guests from the USA, Canada and Spain.
